Answers to some frequently asked Andy Frain questions.

Employee Portal (Bank Info, Tax Info, Paystubs, W-2)

You can access your paystubs, W-2, bank and tax information by going to the portal. Andy Frain Services admins and management do not have access to your personal banking records, tax information or pay stubs in the People site. But you and Vensure can access this at anytime. If you need to create a new password, follow the steps located on the front page of the portal and create a new password on your own. W-2’s and paystubs can be attained anytime by going to the portal. If you need assistance, you can contact Venure at (866) 636.2855. Or contact the Orlando office by phone at (407) 494-5843 (limited assistance available) or by email: andyfrainorl@andyfrain.com

Update: Andy Frain will be moving to ADP Vantage effective 1/1/2024. Please see below for the updates regarding the transition from PEOPLE Vensure to ADP Vantage.

We ask that all employees log on to their personal ESS (Employee Self Service) to verify and/or update their personal information such as address, email, cell phone, etc. The more accurate our data base is when converting to ADP the smoother the transition will be for everyone. Not to mention, this always helps during W2 season.

Scheduling (Team Xpress, Time Cards, Availability)

Team Xpress is the app Andy Frain Services uses to establish your schedule. You can download the app for Androids or iPhones as well as access the scheduling system on-line. To get scheduled, you enter your availability in the app, and our team schedules events based on availability entered and operational needs. Always acknowledge your shifts once you read the information by sliding the slider-bar to the right at the top of each scheduled shift. See the help videos page for assistance. Remember, this is a part-time, on-call, event-based position.

Self Check-In

Self check-in in the Team Xpress app is generally not used by Andy Frain Orlando except for rare occasions when a check-in station is not available. You should always clock in with an actual representative at your events (except as indicated in Team Xpress or by management) with your white ID card or by knowing your ID number and relaying it to a representative. Please do not clock in and out on your Team Xpress App, unless instructed to do so. If you have any questions about Team Xpress, please call our office and speak to a representative.

ABI Machine

Every Andy Frain employee should be checking-in and out with an ABI machines installed on the walls of city owned venues (KIA Center & Camping World Stadium) with their issued ABI card when entering the venue. If you have not received an ABI card or have misplaced it, you can check in manually by typing in the last 6 digits of your social security number. Checking in allows the security team to assess who does and does not work at the venue and is for a head count should an emergency arise. Watch a video HERE to see how to check-in manually.

ABI machines can be found at all city owned venues

“DailyPay

DailyPay gives employees early access to their earned pay. For DailyPay information, click HERE. DailyPay can be pretty tricky quickly, so we advise to do your research before signing up!

Pay Day

Our work week is Thursday to Wednesday each week. Payday is on the Wednesday FOLLOWING the Wednesday of the previous week. There is 1 week between the week you worked and when you get paid (unless you are using DailyPay, see link above.) Paper check delivery may affect the day you get paid as the US Postal Service will need time to deliver the check.

Andy Frain Orlando’s work week looks like this: we work on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday…then you get paid the FOLLOWING Wednesday. This allows our management and payroll teams time (7 days) to calculate worked hours and bill venues/clients for an accurate payroll that week. Again, DailyPay enrollment and paper check mail delivery may affect the day you are actually receive payment. Direct deposit should automatically drop into your bank account on Wednesday morning each week (if properly set up) for prior week that you worked.

Any shifts that split a day (go past midnight,) those worked hours will begin calculating as a new day. If that day splits Wednesday into Thursday, anything worked after 11:59pm on Wednesday will fall into a new pay week and be paid out on the next check. Each Thursday at midnight start a new pay cycle.

Events Calendar

Our weekly events calendar can be found HERE. Not all events shown on the calendar are currently being scheduled. And not all shifts being scheduled are shown (some private events and some shifts at DPC or OCPS are not shown on the calendar.) Check your Team Xpress often and set your alerts for reminders for when you are scheduled for events. For best view, put the calendar in “agenda” mode (top right corner of the calendar.) Times shown on calendar are for the event start time (not your report time.) You should always refer to Team Xpress for your report time to events you are scheduled.

Wardrobe

The standard Andy Frain wardrobe is solid black dress pants, solid black shoes (no other colors) , black socks (or hosiery) and a black belt. The shirt may vary depending on role and venue. Andy Frain ushers/ticket takers are required to have a long sleeve, white, button up shirt for KIA Center events. All other venues and security roles will be given a shirt to wear. For those events, the team wears a black or white t-shirt in to work and receives the wardrobe shirt at clock-in. For KIA Guest Services team, a vest and tie will be issued. All wardrobe (unless prior arrangements have been made) must be turned in at the end of the night. Please refer to the Wardrobe Page for further details.

All wardrobe should be clean, wrinkle-free and without holes or tears. Ensure you look your absolute best for each event. Information can be found on our wardrobe page that is located HERE. Clothing assistance groups can be found on our Community page.

“Andy Days” (formerly Blackout Days)

Andy Days are scheduled days that have a very high need of people to cover shifts in multiple venues. Usually, these coincide with multiple events at multiple venues at the same time. EVERYONE on our team is scheduled these days and are encouraged to work these shifts to insure all bases are covered. Not everyone will be scheduled for the major or larger event. We may have other smaller events going on at the same time that we will need to cover as well. Parking information for these events is sometimes shared in the days just before the event. Watch for Andy Days info in your email.

Security Class

Andy Frain Orlando occasionally offers a Class D security course at our offices. The class is 42 hours long in Florida and all days are required to be attended to receive your certificate to present to the State for the license. An additional fee is required by the State at the time that you apply for your license. Security class information can be found on the security page HERE.

Orientation

An orientation class is offered to our new hires each week. All new Andy Frain employees should attend prior to working their first shift. This PAID training will deep dive into all the resources and expectations to be successful with your new position.

Late or Shift Call-out

If you are going to be late or cannot make your scheduled shift, you are required to call or text our office at (407) 494-5843 ASAP. While we understand emergencies and illness happen quickly, please give our team as much notice as possible to be able to adjust and fill your position if necessary. Andy Days are required work days and shifts will automatically show on your schedule. You will still need to call out as usual for these shifts.

I.D. Card

A solid white card is for clocking in and out at each event. If you do not have this card or have lost yours, know your employee ID number and a representative can clock you in/out manually. If you are in security, this card should have your signature on it, covered with a clear piece of tape. Guest services roles do not require a signature on the card. You can request a card HERE. Each replacement card will require a $5 payroll deduction form.

The City ABI card (red and blue) gives you access to parking and to our venues. If you do not have this card, you should inform parking that you work for Andy Frain and that you do not have your card yet or have lost yours. You should manually check-in at all venues by typing in the last 6 digits of your social security number into the city ABI machines (see above) until you receive your City ABI card.

Shorts And Hats

Solid black shorts and ball caps are allowed at Camping World Stadium (and select outdoor venues) only. Hats are not allowed at KIA Center (unless issued as part of a special event.) They should be solid black and shorts should be knee length or no more/less than 2 inches above or below the knee. Capris, basketball shorts, spandex, biker or yoga style are not allowed. Shorts should be loose fitting and a solid black color. White or yellow Andy Frain logoed hats are acceptable. Holes, rips, tears or dirty are not allowed on any Andy Frain wardrobe and will be cause for dismissal.

One-Sheeter

A one-sheeter is an information sheet that you should pick up at each event you are working. They contain vital event and venue information. They can be obtained at check-in at the venue or ask a Supervisor if you cannot find one. The event one-sheeter will answer most questions you get from guests.

Discounts

Currently, at this time, we do not receive any discounts from our clients, vendors or venues.

Tattoos

Tattoos on arms should always be covered. Per Andy Frain Services guidelines, tattoos on the face, neck and hands are not acceptable. If tattoos are visible on the legs, shorts should not be worn at Camping World Stadium or accepted outdoor venues.

Elevators and Stairs

With the exception of ADA and employees with documented medical issues, all able-bodied employees should be utilizing the stairs to get to the various levels at our venues that we service. Elevators and escalators should be for reserved for our guests to use.
